(hereinafter: “ADAMÁ-ALMA”, “we”, “our”, “us”, “Company”) is a company and an international brand that designs and manufactures home décor items such as vinyl rugs, tableware items, wall art and other products (“Products”) and enables Users to purchase these Products on the Site. We manage the Site and all the services provided therein (“Services”).

4.1. Using your personal data

4.2. Where and for how long is your personal data stored?

ADAMÁ-ALMA works together with Shopify to provide its goods and services and therefore collects and stores personal data through the Shopify Platform. Shopify complies with the GDPR legal regulations and we rely on Shopify to have a legal basis for any and all personal data we receive and process. Therefore personal data we receive through Shopify is stored digitally with us in our back office as long as the following 2 basis are fulfilled, which are assured and used by Shopify upon collecting, sharing and processing personal data:

  • to perform a contract;
  • to promote a legitimate interest of a party, balanced with any risks to the customer's fundamental right to privacy.

Alternatively, any personal data we collect ourselves is stored digitally with us in our back office as long as we have the User’s consent, if it is necessary to perform a contract or to promote a legitimate interest of a party, balanced with any risks to your fundamental right to privacy.

4.3. Do we share your personal data with third parties?

ADAMÁ-ALMA discloses your personal data as described below and elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Access to personal data granted to the ADAMÁ-ALMA internal team such as admin, web developers or other third party vendors who have access to our back office, our third party production sites that receive the orders with the User’s personal information and the shipping companies. The latter have access only to the personal information connected to the shipping. We may also share your data with third party service providers (e.g. customers review, email marketing).

Any data collected will be used in accordance with our own Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can set preferences for how third party service providers advertise to you and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by Cookie settings or by permanently using a browser plugin.

In addition you should know that some of your personal information we gather may be disclosed or transferred to the purchaser of our business. We ourselves process personal data in a way that ensures the appropriate security. This includes protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. In addition we do everything to minimize the exposure of personal data to any employees or third parties where it is not necessary to use the data in order to process or fulfill orders.

We try to do our best to protect your personal information. Unfortunately, passing on information via the internet is never completely secure, which is why, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

Please note that you are responsible for protecting your passwords or other credentials connected with any account that may be used on our Site.
